Rivera del Notro 2015:

100% País grapes from “Nacimiento”. Grapes obtained from an ancient vineyard between 150 – 200 years old, which is grown in granitic intrusive soil (solidified magma).

Grapevines are chemical free, with no application of herbicides nr chemical fertilizers. It is only added a small amount of sulphur per season.

Grapes were fermented in tanks made of native Wood (Chilean oak) and kept in old barrels. It was isolated free run from the wine press to obtain “Rivera del notro “100% pure free run wine., bottled in August 2015 with 12% Alcohol.

“Pipeño”

is the traditional manner of winemaking in Chile, which began since over 400 years ago when the Spaniards brought the first grapevine cuttings to the Bío-Bío region. The wine in this bottle comes from 200 years-old dry-farmed vineyards; head-pruned vines and plowing with animal are the living example of our heritage. The grapes, 100% País, after destemming are naturally fermented only with their own wild yeast.

Pipeño 2015:

100% pure País grapes obtained from 200-year-old vineyard located in NACIMIENTO, in which soils are granitic intrusive (solidified magma). Vines were managed traditionally without addition of chemical fertilizers nor herbicides. It was only added one sulphur application during the season.

Grapes were fermented in a concrete tank. Wine was concentrated removing “sangria” or “chicha” and kept in old barrels. It was isolated the free run out of the wine press which was utilized to create “Pipeño”, 100% free run from NACIMIENTO.

Vintage 2015, April 15th, Bottled in August 2015, 13% alcohol,

Pipeño 2016:

100% pure País grapes obtained from 200-year-old vineyard located in NACIMIENTO, in which soils are granitic intrusive (solidified magma). Vines were managed traditionally without addition of chemical fertilizers nor herbicides. It was only added one sulphur application during the season.

Grapes were fermented in a Chilean wood tank. Wine was concentrated removing “sangria” or “chicha” and kept in old barrels. It was isolated the free run out of the wine press which was utilized to create “Pipeño”, 100% free run from NACIMIENTO.

Vintage: 2016; 11,9% alcohol,

Valley: Bío-Bío.

 


 

RIVERA DEL NOTRO (WHITE):

is a wine made through skin contact during three months. Wine contains two different varieties which were vinified separately. The three varieties used were Corinto, Muscat of Alexandria and semillon which corresponded to a fresh zone from Itata Valley with alcohol values of 12.3 %. Wine was processed without filtering nor stabilization.

Vintage of 2016, 11.8% alcohol, Muscat of Alexandria-Corinto-Semillón, Tomé – Coelemu.

 


 

RIVERA DEL NOTRO, SEMI-SPARKLING WINE 2016.

Wine obtained from a 200-year-old vineyard, País grape variety. Place of origin is south Bío Bío riverbank, Nacimiento, grown over a sandy clay soil.

Wine 100% free run separated from wine press, it was elaborated through a long carbonic soaking of two months at a low natural temperature.

Wine tasting in nose and mouth can be perceived sour cherry and red fruits taste, it also shows a very slight sweet sparkling touch. It is ideal to share it cold as aperitif or along with cold meat.

Santa Cruz de coya, País, 2016.
